Job Title: Resort Appearance Manager

Department: Housekeeping

Reports to: Assistant Director of Housekeeping

The Resort Appearance Manager will manage a team of highly engaged associates to ensure cleanliness throughout all public areas of the resort.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, coordinate, and assign cleaning tasks to team members based on need and skill level of team.
• Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets the cleaning and operational standards.
• Ensure proper inventory and condition of supplies proper and equipment.
• Make recommendations for repairs and improvements to buildings, grounds, pools and equipment.

Next Level Duties:

• Be actively involved in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Assist with the scheduling and payroll operations.
• Ensure the labor productivity of the team is in line with our labor standards and tasks to be completed.
• Assist the team in completing their assignments when attendance is high.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Housekeeping and Director of Housekeeping daily in all other janitorial maintenance functions as required.

Must Have Personal Qualifications:

• Prior leadership experience
• Housekeeping experience (preferred)
• Ability to navigate diverse terrain and varied environmental conditions
• Strong customer service skills and team player
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment used to clean buildings, pools, and grounds (preferred)
• Knowledge of the quantities, qualities and uses of various cleaning and sanitizing components (preferred)
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules, and regulations (preferred)
