Wellness Attendant

Cambridge Village of Wilmington, a resort style senior living retirement community is actively hiring for the position of Wellness Attendant for our Cambridge Fitness facility. Scheduled hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 12:30pm-8:30pm.

Qualified candidates must have exceptional customer service skills and be able to represent the company in a positive and professional manner while greeting residents/ fitness members, answering telephone, and operating smoothie bar/ cafe. Will perform general housekeeping duties throughout the smoothie bar and fitness center to ensure a safe, organized, and sanitized facility.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains member information in Billing Software
• Assists Residents and Fitness Members with inquiries regarding Cambridge Fitness classes and equipment.
• Receives and enters orders for Wellness menu items using Billing Software for members and Aloha POS for residents
• Fulfills orders for smoothies and café items by operating blenders and coffee equipment as requested.
• Performs daily duties found on Task List to maintain order and cleanliness in Wellness Center.

Entry Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma
• Exceptional customer service skills, telephone etiquette and communication with coworkers.
• Proficient in use of computer to include e-mail, internet and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Qualification/ Certifications

• Certified pool operator – CPP or pool maintenance experience
• CPR/ AED/ first aid certification

Physical Demands:

• May be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk, and hear.
• May occasionally lift objects 10 to 25 pounds.
