Job Overview:
As a UX Designer, you will work closely with our product management, content development, visual design, and engineering teams to create integrated, useful, pleasing experiences for Learning A-Z's enterprise SaaS products. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting user research, analyzing feedback, and translating insights into actionable design solutions that address the unique needs and preferences of both teachers and young learners. From wireframing and prototyping to conducting usability tests, you'll guide the development of intuitive interfaces and interactive features that foster a seamless learning journey for our diverse user base.
Job Requirements:
Perform user experience (UX) design across the software development phases. Incorporate usability testing and classroom observations into the project life cycle.
Knowledge of UX design best practices.
Contribute to the vision and driving collaboration between the engineering, business, and content development teams from product inception through to implementation.
Doesn't take requirements as given; makes sure there's a human perspective brought to bear.
Confident in applying best practices to common design problems; solutions are solid, not novel.
Create feature wireframes, prototypes, user flows and write ux requirements docs.
Effective at problem solving skills, group brainstorming and iterative design.
Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team of designers, artists, product managers and engineers.
Able to communicate target quality and feature behavior.
Help conduct user testing for new products, existing products and new product features, including the creation of testing plans, user surveys and conducting in-person user observations.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools like XD, Axure or Figma (Figma preferred).
Experience working with Visio, Lucid Chart or similar user flow software.
Experience creating and delivering great digital user experiences (responsive web, software as a service, educational software, and/or mobile app).
At least 2 years of UX design experience
Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Can collaborate with a team to create great user experiences.
Experience doing ux design for SaaS, B2B/Enterprise side.
Experience with user experience for SaaS and children's education.
Experience with user research.
