Your passion:
You have a passion to create engaging Gospel Centered church service experiences for kids and their small group leaders. You’ll do this by managing the technical and crew aspects of the Large Group Experience. This position also acts as an integral part of the Calvary Kids ministry creative experience. The specific responsibilities of this position are leading a team of student leaders and adult volunteers to create an impactful experience where kids encounter Jesus in Calvary Kids. You will invest and engage with students, adults, and other staff as you collaborate to make the theater an engaging space during services. Your passion will be for students to learn what it means to serve as part of a committed community, and for kids to be discipled in grace and truth.

You will:
- Oversee the discipleship and growth of the Calvary Kids Tech Team
- Oversee the scheduling of the tech team in relation to necessary large group teachings and special events via Planning Center
- Provide creative insight and edits into designated Elementary Large Group teaching plans
- Be a part of the Experience Team - coordinating actors, skits, drama, and worship Act as liaison to Calvary Christian Academy to make sure we are collaborating and sharing the space well.
- Be responsible for handling Purchase transactions for the Children’s Ministry, which includes but is not limited to: weekly, monthly and quarterly ordering and shopping through different distributors.
- Take part in meetings and perform other department-related tasks as needed and assigned by the Calvary Kids Elementary Director.
- Teach Chapels and kids church services when requested
- Assist the Experience Manager in certain creative aspects of special events, such as Fall Festival, Christmas services, Easter services, and Kids Conf
You have:
- Creative, organizational, and strategic gifts
- Excellent organizational skills with an appreciation for details
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with staff members, leadership, volunteers, church body, and kids
- Excellent planning and follow through ability
- Ability to be flexible and demonstrate excellent time management skills
- Ability to complete projects on time and follow-through efficiently
- Specific technical training in sound and lights
- Discernment and ability to keep confidential matters confidential
- Ability to relate to both adults and children
- A teachable spirit

- You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. This schedule includes working Saturday and Sunday.
