We are seeking a Maintenance Technician that will perform maintenance and repair on a variety of building facilities equipment including, but not limited to electrical distribution systems, HVAC, production/test equipment, air compressors, boilers, chillers, fans, cooling towers and general building infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Respond to maintenance requests and manage the maintenance request log & schedule.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and test electrical circuits up to 480VAC 3 phase for all new incoming and existing equipment as well as support the electrical need for new develop test cells, operation and the facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, oiling motors, replacing lamps and light fixtures, inspecting/adjusting belts, replacing motors and motor bearings, aligning shafts and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Support development & implementation of a preventive & predictive maintenance program.
• Monitor and adjust climate control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers and other equipment necessary.
• Identify health and safety concerns and recommending corrective or preventive actions to eliminate hazards.
• Support production in the set up assemble and test equipment.
• Assess the current condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment and identify repairs and required upgrades.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Must have 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Have hands-on experience and understand technical building facilities and related equipment, including electrical switchgear, HVAC systems, fire and sprinkler protection, etc.
• Experience with maintenance of machine shop equipment, including CNC equipment, a plus.
• Understanding of OSHA Safety Regulations and Building Code Standards.
• Capable of reading and reviewing contractor drawings and schematics.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with the site occupants, suppliers and other personnel.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word).

Personal Protective Equipment may be required. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee may be required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Salary: $35.00/hour
