A 2020 award winner of the Tampa Bay Business Journals Fast 50 companies, we are expanding our team again, specifically our Accounting Department. The mission of the staff accounting role is the maintenance, development and continuation of accounting procedures primarily in the accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and general ledger functions. This person will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of accounting information while working with other staff personnel in a “team” environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an Entry – Level Staff Accountant. Personnel must have a “no task is too big or too small” mentality, flexible mindset, and eagerness to learn.

Pay:$18.00 an Hour

Essential Responsibilities and Qualifications:

·High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

·Associate’s degree preferred

·One to two years of Accounting experience preferred.

·Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices required.

·Experience with NetSuite accounting/software is preferred.

·Intermediate knowledge of Shopify preferred.

·Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft

·Excel is required—including the ability to create pivot tables, V lookups and formulas.

·Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

·Keyboarding and calculator skills, basic phone operation skills.

·Entry of sales and payables invoices, receipt checks and other payments and make payments of vendor invoices.

·Reconciles and posts daily bank and credit card accounts.

·Reconciles daily cash collections between billing system and bank statements.

·Records monthly transactions and reconcile accounts for month end close.

·Posts and processes journal entries into correct classifications.

·Assists with the preparation of post-closing financial reports.

·Works with other employees and departments to resolve discrepancies, questions or problems.

·Assists in preparation for management reviews and budgeting activities, as required.

·Handles special projects as instructed by the Accounting Manager or CFO.

·Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.

·Attends department meetings as requested.

·Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

·Complies with all policies as described in the CallPass Employee Handbook.

·Other duties may be assigned, based on Company’s needs.
