Strong computer skills are a requirement.Position Overview as follows:Reports to: Service ManagerPosition Schedule:This position will require the employees primary schedule to be set during normal business hours and will be full-time Monday-Friday from 08:00a.m.-04:30p.m and occasional Saturday coverage.Run weekly BIT/Opacity reports in Fusion of units upcoming/due/past dueCreate spreadsheets in MS Exel of unit locations and dates due for both BIT and OpacityUtilize Fusion L/R contract to locate customer contact information for specific units, for use of notification of upcoming Preventative MaintenanceNotify customers by email and/or phone, to schedule client to bring equipment in or set up on-site appointmentsDistribute work to assigned team/fleet-techs to perform on-site or in-house PM servicesAssist in daily yard checks, locate and verify units on yard are current on BIT, PM or Opacity servicesReview incoming work orders from services performed and update on fusion and/or notify client of any follow-up/major repairs neededPull back-up data when requested, for CHP inspections performed on our clientsIssue back-up data or records to clients, should they require back up for their filesSchedule outside vendors to perform services outside our service range or hoursArrange a sub unit with Rental department for leased customer units that are brought in for service or repairsOpen, process and scan all work orders for BITs, PMs, Opacitys and follow-upsAssist in Creating in Fusion the service intervals (BIT, PM, Opacity) for all company unitsCoordinate with Service Manager to identify potential service breakdowns that are rebillable to the client.AssistAssist shop Supervisor(s) throughout shift answering phones, dispatching service-calls or assigning jobsAssist and cover shop counter when Supervisor is out ill, on vacation or has a day offMaintain a flexible schedule to assist shop needs (e.g.: Cover swing-shift, come in early to open shop)Assist service writer closing work orders, BITs and PMAssist and cover parts counter when neededGather, locate and store parts in assigned bin locationsAssist Service Branch Manager by gathering information needed for his projects or inquiriesAssist Service Branch Manager with confidential paperwork as needed, in their absence as requestedAssist and gather information for Cummins on QuickServe Online (QSOL)Assist and gather information for Freightliner/Daimler on AccessFreightliner.comOther job assignments as requested by manager.Weekly PayEmployee Discount Programs through National Retail ChainsEmployee Paid Life and AD&D Insurance401(k) and Roth 401(k) with Company MatchCompensationHourly: $23-25 IncentiveAbout Us:We are a family-owned company doing business since 1978.We are dedicated and committed to safety, each other, and our customers.Our team is positive and passionate and come to work each day with a Can Do attitude.
