Summary:
The role of Standardized Participant Learning and Development Trainer (SPLDT) will contribute to the success of the SP program by assisting the Director of the Simulation Center. Coordinating the increasing number of sessions, training newly hired SPs to the role, and ongoing SP development will be a primary function of this individual. Record keeping, reports, and scheduling will organize the growing program. Functioning as a proficient standardized patient to medical students, this role demonstrates competency in the knowledge of safe SP practice and procedure. As a team member of the CHSU Simulation Center, this position aids in standardized participant programing, scheduling, and training in patient cases ensuring desired outcomes are achieved.
