Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable functional requirements and traceability skills, project delivery experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to managers and staff in the Information Technology Branch? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the EDDNext Transformation Office, Technical Innovation Section, as an Information Technology Specialist III, Lead Functional Architect.

The EDDNext Lead Functional Architect will oversee the development of functional business requirements and traceability of requirements through design, development, and testing, in support of the EDDNext benefit systems modernization project. This position will support and enhance existing systems and development requirements for new systems that will be released under EDDNext.

This position is located at EDDNext's office at 9815 Goethe Road, Sacramento, CA and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
