We have an opening for a 2nd shift Production Finisher at our beautiful manufacturing facility in Greenwood. Second shift hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Pay, for 2nd shift, is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience. Compensation includes full benefits after 30 days.

General Description:

Finishing and closing jobs using the scanners. Issuing selected raw materials using guidelines given. Monitoring the condition of packaged goods for cleanliness,correct application of labels, or any other factors that would deem the container unfit for shipment to the customer. Supporting production personnel by bringing out finished products from the production rooms.

This position is NOT limited to the above description as other responsibilities may include tasks, projects, or plans given by management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recording accurate counts of job yields using scanner
• Issuing balance of raw materials for each job from a staging location using scanner
• Finishing and closing jobs produced and packaged using scanner
• Applying and bolting down lids to drums
• Labeling drums and totes of packaged finished product
• Weighing product packed in totes and stamping weights on tote labels

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Reporting any finished product that is packaged below acceptable standards to supervisor
• Cleaning drums as necessary
• Bringing finished goods to supply chain once the job is closed
• Keeping finishing area clean and organized
• Systematically move inventory from warehouse location to production location using scanner, as needed

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to drive a stand-up forklift safely
• Ability to use handheld scanners
• Must be able to weigh and measure accurately
• Knowledge of basic math and reading (English) skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Work Task Requirements (Safety Requirements):

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must use personnel protective equipment, when needed
• Proper footwear required to prevent slipping, tripping or falling
• Must use proper lifting techniques
