Summary:

Responsible for the organization and set up of vendor item and cost data. Ensures data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Ensures data is entered into hosting systems in accordance with maintenance schedule and policies. Serves as premier source for accurate, timely, relevant, and actionable information and analysis to affect operational decisions and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures data is entered and maintained in systems as submitted.
• Identifies and corrects data inconsistencies.
• Gains familiarity with team policies, procedures, and practices.
• With guidance, learns to perform the duties of a Data Operations Contractor, including:

o Entering routine data into established hosting systems

o Identifying and correcting data inconsistencies

o Preparing periodic and routine reports

• Supports team efforts to evaluate and understand process-related work issues and develop effective solutions.
• Attends meetings as scheduled and actively participates.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Excel software.
• Ability to perform system data entry while maintaining high degree of data integrity.
• Ability to identify and correct routine data integrity issues.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to embrace change with enthusiasm and work as part of a collaborative team.
• Organizes and completes tasks according to assigned priorities.
• Shows initiative by asking questions and seeks to increase own knowledge and contribution.
• Provides regular updates on work progression.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
