Position:Industrial Maintenance Technician

Duration:12 Months (Contract)
Location:ONSITE - Georgetown, KY
Rate:$29.00 per hour (W2 Only)

A global company is seeking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician to inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production. This includes supporting machine savvy activity at North American International companies from the installation to the start of production.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Capable of offline and online ROBOT programming Preferably (Kawasaki, Nachi, and Motoman).
Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
Support weld machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials
Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Associate s Degree (or higher) or equivalent certifications or current or recent automotive maintenance experience
Robotics Programming (highly preferred; experience with Kawasaki, Nachi, Yaskawa)
PLC troubleshooting and logic updates experience
Troubleshooting of equipment faults and problems
Able to travel up to 75% - Canada, Mexico and possibly to Japan. Should be ready to travel immediately, responsible for hands-on work and office work. Travel could last at most 2 weeks or max 3 weeks.
Able to work up to 50% OT - Comfortable working two weekends in a row, they might be required to work 3 weekends in a row if needed.
Experience with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook - intermediate
