Cal-Tex Protective Coatings, Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service and Print Specialist Near Schertz, TX

Position Title: Customer Service & Print Specialist Reports To: Customer Service Supervisor
Department: Customer Service Status: Non-Exempt
Position Purpose:
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing customer support to the sales organization, agents, dealers, and direct accounts, as well as printing and production of sales marketing materials.
Essential Job Functions: The Customer Service & Print Specialist must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Service inquiries from sales team members, agents, and dealerships on products, programs, and agreements.
  • Be an extension of the sales force in making sales related contacts with dealerships and agents, as well as, providing specific program information for sales visits/presentations.
  • Review all new contracts to ensure documents are complete / accurate and conduct appropriate follow up.
  • Generate sales reports to sales, agents, and national accounts monthly.
  • Work with various departments to receive and communicate status updates.
  • Manage time effectively, complete tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, think, plan, and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action as needed.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group.
  • Sort and review orders printed.
  • Identify backorder items and produce manufacturing form communicating with order department to create a backorder.
  • Partner with shipping department on rush orders.
  • Prioritize orders (new, next day, special/priority and routine reorders.)
  • Print Marketing Material for dealerships, brochures, placemats, and banners.
  • Print labels for production and manufacturing department.
  • Maintain stock of non-customized Marketing Materials.
  • Print Etch stencils, Shadowmark Labels, package and maintain inventory.
  • Assemble pitch kits and maintain inventory.
  • Order and maintain paper and ink inventory.
  • Communicate with external vendors for any repairs or maintenance on printshop equipment.
  • Daily maintenance on printshop equipment.
Education/Experience:
  • The minimum educational background of an applicant to this position is a high school degree or GED required. (College preferred but not required.)
  • One year of previous work-related experience in customer service required. Order fulfillment and/or print shop experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with print shop equipment preferred (laminator, printers, cutting and folding equipment)
In addition, a qualified applicant will be:
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and can work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Strong, analytical, problem solving, and research skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, adhere to deadlines and multi-task while producing quality results.
  • Solid PC skills Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and quickly, and as part of team to execute tasks.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Work Environment:
Most job responsibilities are performed while standing indoors with moderate exposure to hazards. Some flex hours may be required (must be able to work nights and weekends on a non-routine basis).
Contacts:
Interaction will occur with various departments, employees and management and customers in the performance of the job duties as they relate to the Customer Service & Print Specialist.
