Center for Inclusive Computing (CIC) Transfer Pathways Grant Project
Work Schedule: This is a part-time, non-exempt position; 5 hours/week. This position is not eligible for benefits. This is a temporary 12-week appointment. This appointment will end 12 weeks from the date of hire, contingent upon the availability of funds.
Essential Functions: Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) of the project, the incumbent will teach the CS1, CS2, or CS3 course by adapting the new standardized syllabus and one Socially Responsible Component (SRC) assignment. Also, the CS1 instructor must attend monthly one-hour community practice meetings, including onboarding meetings.

The Computer Science Instructor must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the UAS. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or the continued employment of current UAS employees who apply for the position.
