Cal Performances is Hiring a Dance Instructor (Temp) Near Berkeley, CA
Cal Performances AileyCamp is seeking four (4) Dance Instructors in African Dance, Ballet Dance, Modern Dance, and Jazz Dance to work to work for AileyCamp from June 12, 2023 to July 28, 2023.
Job Position: Dance Instructors (African Dance, Modern Dance, and Jazz Dance)
- The AileyCamp Dance Instructors will teach, model, and support student learning in and through dance techniques to the AileyCampers.
- Specific techniques in Jazz, Modern (Horton technique), African, and Ballet are detailed below.
- The dance faculty consists of four instructors working collaboratively with the AileyCamp directors, Guidance Counselor, Creative Communications instructor, Personal Development instructor, and a staff of Group Leaders to ensure a supportive professional environment.
- This is a temporary position with a start date of June 12, 2023 and an end date of July 28, 2023. Pay is $6,160 total for period of June 12, 2023 to July 28, 2023.
- The individual will be performing the required duties in person on campus.
- Completion of campus-required COVID-19 training and testing (as applicable) for individuals working on campus is required.
