Cain Petroleum is Hiring an Audit/Inventory Specialist (PT) Near Portland, OR
Auditing duties include, but are not limited to:
- Counting items in convenience stores during operating hours, counting quickly and accurately while maintaining the organization of inventory.
- Must be mindful of customers and employees also in the same workspace.
- Will be required to count items inside a walk-in cooler for periods of 30 min - 1 hour.
- Generate reporting of inventory discrepancies and recount specific items.
- Assisting manager with updating retail price tags.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
- Able to work with little to no supervision.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in both hot and cold temperature conditions.
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated walk-in cooler.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work standing for 7 hours.
- Able to walk, stand, bend, squat/stoop, climb, reach, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
Preferred:
- Management experience.
- Two years of related experience in a warehouse and/or inventory-related position.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of inventory maintenance.
- Familiarity using a PC including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Internet.
- Experience with inventory software.
Part-time/Tuesdays & Wednesdays/8Hrs per day.
