Broadway Cannabis Market is Hiring an Inventory Specialist Near Portland, OR

Inventory Specialist

M-F 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

We are a fast-growing cannabis company located in the heart of Downtown Portland. We currently own and operate five (5) dispensaries in the Portland Metropolitan area. In addition, we also produce our own line of edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and cartridges under the brand names Fire Dept. Cannabis and Feel Goods, and distribute those products to approximately 300 dispensaries across the State of Oregon.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for accurately intaking all inventory into the point of sale (POS) system for all retail locations, ensuring all products are transferred compliantly between locations, generating retail product assets, conducting audits, generating purchase orders under the supervision of Snr Buyers, various administrative tasks and generally supporting any inventory needs at all retail locations.

Reports to: Buying Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Checking incoming orders for accuracy against Metrc system manifest, and communicating with vendors, Metrc, Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission (OLCC) and General Manager when discrepancies are found;
  • Programming new inventory into the POS system;
  • Working within various software platforms to ensure invoices, purchase orders and other documents are appropriately sorted;
  • Generating Purchase Orders as per request of Snr Buyers;
  • Receiving orders into Metrc and POS system;
  • Creating Flower Display Cards and Pricing Cards as needed;
  • Troubleshooting of inventory discrepancies between POS and Metrc;
  • Assisting with execution of inventory audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Computer software and data entry skills;
  • Knowledge of cannabis and industry;
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately;
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice;
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient with Metrc CTS;
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with various POS software, Excel and Adobe Illustrator
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written;
  • Must be 21 years of age or older;
  • Must have a valid Oregon Liquor Cannabis Commission (OLCC) card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
