We are looking for a Operations Support Supervisor to manage and supervise operational staff responsible for determining eligibility and processing programs of assistance. This will be full time and on-site.
What You'll Do
Manage and supervise operational staff responsible for determining eligibility and processing programs of assistance
Collaborates in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals
Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policies and objectives to staff
Supervises and monitors program/services metrics and staff productivity
Creates and reviews monthly metrics with client
Knowledge of all Health and Social Services programs of assistance procedures, Federal and State regulations and policies, principles, and practice of administration
Coordinates with other operational managers, State and Community agencies to meet and improve objectives
Instructs, advises, and directs the implementation of policies and procedures. Evaluate and monitor effectiveness and efficiency through review of administrative reports, program reviews, case reviews, and client contact
Revises operating procedures which include workload assignment and staffing
Creates statistical and narrative reports, records case histories prepared by staff to evaluate effectiveness of services provided
Develops new procedures, updates or changes existing procedures, communicates and trains staff
Strong written and verbal communication skill
Skill in communication, interpersonal relationships, motivation, organization and management
Ability to evaluate and interpret complex policy and program information
Ability to access situations, evaluate information and recommend course of action
What You'll Need
Required:
Associate Degree
One year of experience processing programs of assistance for State government
One year of experience determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Transportation to/from office
Be available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month, if necessary
Dependability and on-time
Two years of experience in Customer Service
Microsoft Office Suite
Data Entry experience
Attention to Detail
Outstanding organizational skills
Good analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Solid interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team
Ability to drive work to completion and escalate when necessary
Team oriented individuals that want to make a difference in the community
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
