SUMMARY
The Training Specialist will assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of training and development programs for employees. Working with the Training Manager, this individual contributes to successful learning strategies for employees and leadership.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in training-related program, Education, or Human Resources and at least three years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Diversified duties involving an intensive knowledge of a technical or specialized field within the organization (such as training) requiring the use of a wide range of procedures. Must apply principals of rational systems to solve practical problems.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Under general supervision where standard practice enables the employee to proceed alone on regular duties, referring questionable case to supervisor or others.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS
Probable errors usually detected in succeeding operations and generally confined to a single department or phase of company activities. Errors could cause some internal confusion or delays, or cause customer or supplier complaints, but could be detected and adjusted with little difficulty. Most work verified or checked either by systems and procedures, or supervision.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS
Regular contact throughout the normal working day with other persons, departments, vendors, customers, etc., on matters where proper behavior and tact are necessary to avoid friction and maintain the flow of work. Contact with external suppliers and training providers also.
CONFIDENTIAL DATA
Work with some confidential data where the effect of any disclosure would probably be negligible or where the full import is not apparent in the routines performed.
MENTAL / VISUAL / AUDITORY DEMAND
Moderately complex, exacting work, requiring mental and visual attention in such typical tasks as statistical computations, correspondence, tabulations etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Experience operating multimedia tools and equipment for training delivery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to key handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
