Job Description
Job Title: OFFICER, Corporate Services
Department: Donor Services
Reports To: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR, Corporate Services
FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: Responsible for managing donor client relationships, programs, and grantmaking. In addition to providing excellent customer service, the senior officer will be responsible for maintaining expertise in international grantmaking, DAF regulations, and CAF America validation protocols by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Manages a portfolio of donor relationships, and provides a variety of donor advised philanthropic services.

2. Provides advisory services to clients, particularly during client onboarding.

3. Maintains expertise and provides advisory services in DAF regulations, corporate social responsibility strategy, and foreign charity needs.

4. Collaborates with grants services team to ensure efficient completion of validation services and communication of donor requirements and concerns to address during validation.

5. Maintains donor correspondence, validation updates, invoicing, and grant recommendations.

6. Assists corporate clients with the development and implementation of integrated donor advised programs.

7. Collaborates with directors and business development team during prospecting as needed.

8. Supports business development and finance by providing regular and accurate budget projections based upon fund activity.

9. Assists with validation of charities through equivalency determination and expenditure responsibility as needed.

10. Participates in educational opportunities regarding philanthropy, client management, grantmaking regulations, and foreign charity regulations.

11. Maintains knowledge of, and puts into practice, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing practices and regulations.

12. Maintains an information security access of User Access - Donor Services Officer.

13. Assists director and assistant director with projects and tasks on an as-needed basis.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, grants management databases like CyberGrants and/or iPhi Core, and Salesforce.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university preferred. Two to four years related experience and/or training required with at least two years of that in a professional customer service or externally facing role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
