CAERUS CORP is Hiring a Manufacturing Operations Specialist Near Blaine, MN

Caerus Corp is a Blaine, MN based corporation that designs, manufactures, and has commercialized an impressive portfolio of medical products for the human and veterinary markets. Our mission is to deliver life enhancing pain management technologies to both people and animals. Our brands include OrthoCor Medical, Animal Ortho Care, New Options Sports, and Red Fox Innovations. We have factories that manufacture our products in two locations in Blaine, MN and Farmers Branch, TX.

We are rapidly growing and are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in our success by supporting daily workflow and continuously improving operational performance across all Business Units. You will collaborate with all levels of management to accomplish objectives. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Acts as utility person within Operations Team, working on real time projects and priorities as they arise. Support daily operational activities, including work order routings, scheduling priorities and problem-solving real-time issues.

  • Aid in planning, coordination, and execution of production schedules. Serve as key owner of on-time delivery metrics.

  • Maintain and optimize information and processes within ERP system. Maintain systems that accurately reflect labor requirements, routing standards, and availability of resources and inputs as they change over time.

  • Collaborate with sales and operations management to analyze historical demand and sales forecasts; support resource and growth planning by ensuring adequate resources and identify potential constraints.

  • Partner with and support Supply Chain as needed to reduce supply chain risk and ensure materials are available on time.

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to effectively support development, new production introductions, and product launches. Participate in and lead planning efforts for development projects.

  • Develop and improve key operational processes to optimize workflow and reduce waste within the operations organization. Provide recommendations for improvement in any aspect relating to increased performance.

  • Track and communicate key performance indicators to management. Lead job performance and costing efforts; identify root causes of job inefficiencies and make suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have some experience and familiarity with an organization operating a factory, or relevant educational background in Operations Management or related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Excel and Office suites; experience operating within an ERP system preferred.

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

  • Ability to manage diverse projects simultaneously. Willingness to perform simple to complex high-impact tasks.

  • Exceptionally driven; desire to make a difference and prove ability to create positive change.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, voluntary life and A&D, holiday pay, paid time off, 401k, and 401k employer match, participation in bonus program.
  • Exempt Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000. DOE
