Personal Lines Account Manager in Needham, MA
Responsibilities Key Accountabilities:
- Servicing all aspects of our clients personal insurance needs, usually in partnership with an Account Executive or Producer, from renewal preparation and marketing to policy administration
- Gathering accurate information from clients and preparing applications for submission to the insurance companies
- Developing proposals and insurance summaries based on an evaluation of the clients coverage needs.
- Supporting and processing new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and rewrites
- Explaining insurance policies and coverages, suggesting coverage enhancements, and resolving general customer inquiries
- Maintaining electronic client account records and adhering to agency procedures and workflows
RequirementQualifications
- Exceptional aptitude for customer service and nurturing long term relationships.
- Highly accountable, resourceful, and flexible
- Proven hands-on experience with an in-depth understanding of Personal Lines Coverages
- Superior presentation skills and ability to understand one's audiences.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, collecting information, asking thoughtful questions and analyzing possible solutions.
- Preferred minimum of 1-2 years of insurance agency experience in an Account Manager role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management technology, preferably TAM.
- Familiarity with High-Net-Worth clientele and clients located in coastal markets a plus.
- Ability to have fun!
