Responsibilities and Duties
The Front Desk Manager directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties.
Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone. Ensure that all associates are adhering to all hotel policies, standards, procedures, and regulations.
Needs to be able to perform in all front office functions. Total responsibility for hiring, training and development of all associates working for the front office, may be responsible for the breakfast area at some locations.
Assist general manager in all areas to ensure smooth operations. Ensures that front desk operations are working in a professional manner at all times.
Strictly follows bank-out procedures and cash handling procedures.
Know all frequent customers and be familiar with their special requests. Ensure that their needs are met.
