Patient Scheduler (Medical Equipment & Supplies)
This is a full-time position with a required commitment of 40 hours per week. This position is considered “at-will”, and should not be considered a contracted or guaranteed position

Main responsibilities:

• Handling receipt of orders from physicians through the fulfillment and delivery to patients.

• Physician/Patient customer service (working with doctors offices to assist with needs, and answering patient questions).

• Tracking of inventory items

• Determining insurance qualifications

• Document management and intake into billing software

• Strive to provide exemplary patient experiences

• Work efficiently and effectively in a team-based environment

• Triage tasks daily based upon priority level

Additional Responsibilities:

• Establish positive working relationships with customers

• Work to obtain missing information and create “clean” orders

• Competent use of computer systems and EMR software (Brightree, EPIC, etc.)

Required Experience:

• Experience in Patient Care or Case Management in DME or related field

• 1 years of customer service

• Ability to type 50wpm

• Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software (Word, Excel, etc.)
