Location: Delaware County, PA We are looking for an insurance and risk specialist, with a good understanding of various insurance lines, particularly US property and casualty lines, to manage the company’s insurance policies including policy renewals and claims administration. The position will also support handling of the Canadian insurance program. The position will report to the General Counsel and be based out of the corporate headquarters in Paulsboro, New Jersey. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Expectations and Tasks: Manage policy renewals in coordination with Legal and Finance departments. Manage auto, property and general liability claims. Maintain administration of insurance programs throughout the year. Act as a liaison with insurance brokers and insurance carriers including management of carrier site visits and loss control recommendations. Support human resources and site management as the corporate point of contact for workers compensation claims. Engage in review of claims experience and related invoice review. Support site-specific and company-wide loss prevention programs and initiatives in coordination with Compliance and Safety personnel. Assist in handling of Canadian insurance policies, claims and risk management projects. Provide management with reports and recommendations concerning insurance and risk related data. Oversee the Certificate of Insurance issuance process. Qualifications/ Skills Qualifications: 3 years’ experience in an insurance / risk management environment in a commercial property/casualty role at either an insurance company, brokerage or a corporate Risk Management department. Must have solid understanding of claims language and administration. Working knowledge of property and casualty insurance policy terms and conditions and the US workers’ compensation system. Attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks concurrently. PC proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including working experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
