Your Role at Cabot

As an Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will oversee team of specialists for multiple sites, ensuring efficient service delivery within set metrics. Will guide the team in executing daily tasks, supervise work quality, and act as a point of escalation for complex cases. The role involves proactive communication with team members and stakeholders, motivating the team for performance improvements. It is essential that you are driving best practice thinking, living up to company’s values and setting an example for the team. 

How You Will Make an Impact

• Work with team members to ensure all tasks, goals, monthly closing activities and deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standard business practices, including internal control procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Partner with other areas of the P2P organization to identify opportunities, aggregate and standardize processes and systems.
• Workload monitoring for the team, provide training to newcomers and colleagues as well as assure everyday support.
• Contribute to and promote a culture that supports Cabot Values, teamwork, and high SH&E standards.
• Coordinate implementation of payables tools and continuous improvements. (Training, coaching, delegation, motivation)
• Manage performance by coaching and developing employees, ensuring alignment with matrix functions.
• May lead and/or participate in small projects.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

• Bachelor/University degree or equivalent qualification in finance or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably experience in accounts payable department.
• Knowledge of JDE or other ERP tool will be considered as an advantage.
• Clear and effective communication skills in various settings. 
• Adjustment to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changes.
• High level of responsibility for decisions, actions and failures.
• Encourage the open exchange of ideas, viewpoints, and information within team.
• Fluency in English written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels.

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30
• Salary: 1750 - 1950 EUR Gross.
• Monthly allowance.
• Health insurance from first day of work.
• Fixed term contract (1.5 year) with possibility of extension. 
• Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
