M-F (5 days!) & W-F (3 days!) positions are still needed!

Cabot After School Program is an enrichment program serving students from Cabot Elementary School in kindergarten through fifth grade.
CASP complements the public school learning experience by offering children plenty of physical exercises as well as creative outlets in the arts.
We provide outstanding age-appropriate activities for children to spend time together and foster lasting friendships in a relaxed, fun, and structured environment.
Position Overview:
Assist students with learning and behavioral differences in fully accessing and participating in our after-school setting.

Job Details:
$23-$27 an hour, depending on education and experience (partial benefits offered).
Cabot After School Program (CASP), located at the Cabot School, 229 Cabot Street, Newtonville, MA.
Available positions include Part-time educators and one-on-one support positions to provide an inclusive experience for students of all abilities.
Requirements:
Candidates should be mature, motivated, and creative. Previous experience working with groups of children aged 5–11 in a school or camp setting is preferred.
Background in special education/inclusion is required.
HS diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proof of COVID Vaccination.
Dependability is a priority.
Responsibilities:
Providing individualized support to students with physical, behavioral, social, or medical needs.
Supporting social/emotional development, and engagement.
Creating curriculum or developing strategies that help the student to succeed in the after-school setting.
Communicating the student's progress to the parents/caregivers.
Schedule (Dependably committing to a predictable schedule is a priority):
Options: 3 days (Mon-Wed), 5 days (Mon-Fri).
Following Newton Public School Calendar Year.
2:15-6p M, T, Th, Fr. (plus one additional half hour for a team meeting).
