Job Description: Cable Dahmer Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our team. As a Used Car Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our pre-owned vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used cars to meet our rigorous standards for safety and performance.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify any mechanical or electrical issues.
• Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed, ensuring that all repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle status and repair recommendations.
• Uphold safety standards and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an automotive technology program or relevant certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on used cars.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
