JOB SUMMARY:

As a Logistics Supervisor at our Cabinetworks Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing the scheduling processes for the daily production of cabinets and ensuring their timely delivery to customers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff, coordinating delivery schedules, managing office policies and procedures, conducting training and audits, controlling expenditures, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will collaborate closely with our customer care department and sales representatives to ensure that customer expectations are met.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing and guiding staff consisting of Shipping Department, Team Leads and Scheduling Personnel.
  • Plan and manage the scheduling and routing activities to customer/ RDC.
  • Review and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Orientation, training, and on-site lot audits.
  • Control expenditures while maximizing available resources.
  • Review and manage monthly chargeback dollars received from our delivery providers for loss and damage.
  • To lead, motivate and win the confidence of associates.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Splash BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
  • Ability to create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with database management principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Experience in training and supporting end users in utilizing Excel, Splash BI, and SQL functionalities effectively.
  • Progressive management experience in the areas of operations, system development and customer service.
  • Conceptual and creative thinker with excellent communication skills
  • Recognized team builder with a talent to inspire optimum performance from others.
  • The ability to meet daily deadlines imposed on by manufacturing.
  • The ability to meet daily home delivery commitments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 2–4-year degree in Business or Related Field.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification or comparable problem-solving certification.
  • Experience working in the kitchen cabinet industry.
  • Experience with scheduling and executing home delivery into consumers’ homes.
  • Experience managing a large staff of office, warehouse, and driver personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
