As a Production Supervisor on 2nd Shift, you will utilize your manufacturing experience and skills to lead talented production employees! You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, efficiency, and outstanding quality in our Culpeper, Va facility. As a Cabinetworks Group Production Supervisor, you will mentor your team members in technical and behavioral proficiencies in order to deliver high impact business results. Managing and driving departmental performance and providing regular reports of your success. Identifying and participating in corrective actions for safety, processes and quality issues. Providing technical and behavioral coaching and development to your team members. Participating in continuous improvement projects to reduce material and labor costs and increase efficiencies. Building trusting relationships with peers to troubleshoot and problem solve as a team. Making sure product standards and specifications are met. Choosing new members for your team. Recommending equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, and process modifications. What your background looks like: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field. 1-2 years supervisory experience. Experience with manufacturing software systems. Continuous improvement training such as Six Sigma or Kaizen. Lean Manufacturing knowledge. Ability to speak and understand the Spanish language. Exposure to systems controls such as ISO 140001. Green Belt Certification or comparable problem solving certification.
