Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget
- Provide recommendations on furniture, accessories, color schemes, and layout
- Create visual presentations and mood boards to showcase design concepts
- Collaborate with clients to finalize design plans and make necessary adjustments
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and products in the industry
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project details
Requirements:
- Previous experience in interior design or related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail math and ability to calculate pricing and discounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is a plus
