Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary is Hiring a Project Manager Near Huntington, WV

The Project Manager runs assigned projects and leads a multidisciplinary team to accomplish project objectives. The PM delegates tasks, reports to stakeholders, oversees budgets and schedules, and is responsible for bringing projects to successful conclusions. The PM plans, budgets, oversees and documents all aspects of assigned IS projects. The PM will work closely with the CIO to ensure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

System Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop full scale project plans.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Maintain and disburse meeting minutes.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to Leadership and Steering Committees.
  • Reports unresolved problems relating to time, cost, and scope.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or applicable Healthcare experience.

Experience

  • 3-5 Years of Position-Related Experience

  • Experience in progressive management, including 3 years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing vendors and negotiating vendor contracts.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to make effective presentations to diverse groups.
  • Advanced analytical skills required to organize, plan, and direct work of project teams.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills including courtesy, honesty, discretion in conduct and confidentiality associated with all areas of the work environment.
