Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Twisting Operator (Hospitality)

Full Time 3rd Shift 11PM-7AM

Summary : The Twisting Operator supply the twisting machine with raw fiber needed, Patrol, service, and monitor continuously the twisting machine, its processes, and the quality of the product.

Your skills we value :

Follow all Safety, Plant & Quality Guidelines

Verify the case label with the spec sheet for that machine.

Doff yarn bobbins according to the doff schedule posted on each machine.

Refill the bucket with Raw Yarn from the Raw Yarn Buggy for that machine.

Replace empty yarn tubes with replacement packages of yarn.

Compare every tube’s merge # to the spec sheet as you place them in the bucket.

Put tube caps on raw yarn in creel if specified on the spec sheet.

Repair and restart immediately any position that breaks out.

Keep every position running at all times unless you are working on it.

Tag any position that needs repair.

Remove twisted yarn from the conveyor.

Utilize flags to identify mechanical issues on positions that are observed while patrolling job assignment. Communicate excessive ends down (>

5 PER SIDE) with shift supervisor.

Inspect each cone of yarn when loading doff buggy to ensure labels on cones match the lot number on spec sheet. Cones with imperfections or without labels should be set aside and brought to the supervisor's attention.

Cones should also be chalked from cone to end of package with designated chalk color / colors for specific lot.

Clean your assignment and work area toward the end of each shift.
