Our firm is currently seeking a Deployment Technician within the Columbia, MD area. The Deployment Technician's responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
•  Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, and switches.
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
• Knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
• Must have knowledge of data center network design and implementation

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School/GED with nine (9) years experience; Associate degree and seven (7) years experience; Master's degree and three (3) years experience; Doctoral degree and one (1) year 
• Knowledge and/or experience with Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) network technologies, and Network automation.
• Detailed understanding of routing technologies (Cisco ACI, Cisco NXOS, Arista EOS, Juniper QFX).
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Knowledge of Palo Alto device.
