C1 Transportation is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Joliet, IL

C1 Transportation is looking to fill positions as a professional RGN Dispatcher.

We are a fast-growing heavy-haul trucking company seeking a highly organized and experienced dispatcher to join our team.

As an RGN Trucking Dispatcher , you will coordinate the transportation of oversized and overweight loads across the country, ensuring that our clients' cargo arrives safely and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain frequent communication with drivers to ensure they operate safely and within compliance regulations.
  • Manage customer relationships and provide timely updates on load status and delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, including operations and maintenance, to ensure that equipment is available and maintained in good condition.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize loads to ensure efficient utilization of equipment and drivers.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience dispatching heavy haul trucking loads.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for heavy haul transportation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems (TMS).
