Summary: Concrete Construction Superintendent plans projects and oversees the project's progress along the way in a reliable, timely and cost-effective manner. Concrete Construction Superintendent is responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the Projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Use of proper safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment is the top priority

• Oversee and direct concrete construction projects from conception to completion
• Oversee and monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Obtain permits as needed
• Coordinate and direct project workers and subcontractors
• Determine and schedule machinery needed
• Determine and order materials and supplies needed
• Ensure necessary machinery, equipment, materials and supplies are on-site when needed
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to Project status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality and the use of proper techniques
• Enforce safety standards and the use of Personal Protective Equipment

Working conditions and Physical demands

• Primarily outdoors
• Ability to lift, push or pull items 50lbs or more
• Requires often climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting
• Able to use tools and equipment
