General Summary:

The position of Assistant Merchant/Buyer will be to support the Merchandising Team in carrying out a variety of the day-to-day operations and projects of the Merchandising department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain product information on web and retail store POS through Shopify.

• Assist with managing the PO process from start to finish. Persistent follow up with vendors on all costing, discounts, shipping, deliveries, and any outstanding product issues.

• Execute set up of new items/gifts across multiple systems.

• Maintain digital and physical line plans.

• Maintain current competitive analysis to assist Merchant in determining pricing strategies to increase profit margins.

• Manage merchandising calendar to meet deadlines.

• Assist with gift pack outs and coordinate with gift production team to make sure gifts are packed and shipped correctly.

• Assist in preparation for photoshoots.

• Assist in special projects as business needs warrant that may include producing gift accessories.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional teams including production, corporate sales, marketing, and customer service.

• Maintain and update current inventory reports.

• Run selling reports and assist with analyzing data.

• Develop knowledge of the overall department to be able to provide team members with all requested information.

• Assist with Intern workflow and job performance.

Required Skills:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
