Summary:

The Team Lead manages day-to-day planning, operations, and problem-solving so that their team meets its required objectives. They delegate workload, monitor the team’s performance, and identify training and development needs. The Team Lead is the communication link between the front-line and management and disseminates information to the team and forwards information to the manager in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assists the Fulfillment Center Manager/Supervisor in all aspects of scheduling Order Processors
• Releases and prints customer orders to the warehouse 
• Perform cycle counts and location maintenance
• Trains new Co-Workers and current Co-Workers in warehouse processes and procedures, including safety practices
• Communicates daily plan to other FC’s and discusses any activity changes
• Ensures all daily truck orders are printed, ship/confirmed, invoiced, and loaded onto trucks
• Assists with performance evaluations
• Leads team meetings and provides weekly documentation of meetings to Fulfillment Center Manager
• Ensures the warehouse is a clean and safe work environment
• Provides a written monthly summary of problems and concerns with recommendations for solutions to FC Manager/Supervisor
• Responsible for required facility maintenance during shift when necessary
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 year's of experience leading a team or equivalent 
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to plan and prioritize
• Warehousing logistics experience (preferred)
