Team Introduction
ByteDance's IT security team is responsible for enterprise IT global cyber security, server security, endpoint security, application security construction, and protection work. They work to improve overall IT security capabilities and security posture, providing security processes, security assessments, security operations, and security vulnerability management services. The team also supports IT teams and business departments in meeting their security requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage security-related programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, legal, IC, IA and compliance, to identify security requirements and integrate security controls into the development lifecycle.
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of security projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct efficacy assessments and gap assessments, identifying the meet rate with internal security requirements. Maintain continuous communication with internal requirements department.
• Define and track key security metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of security programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met in vendor relationships, partnerships, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures, support compliance work, and ensure their adoption.
• Ability to quantitatively manage the completion of security objectives based on the analysis of data and indicators.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Security TPM, leading and managing security programs and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Familiarity with security technologies, including network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, SIEM, and cloud security.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on security tools implementation and security operation optimization.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and trends, and a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
