Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Serves as a liaison between IT and users, utilizing both business and technical expertise. Assists the customer/business in troubleshooting & resolving potential system issues. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Interacts with business users to identify analytical requirements. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. Works directly with developers during all phases of development, quality assurance, and project implementation. Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations. Documents system changes. Responsible for “Requirements” document including technical Developer requirements and testing documents. Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Serves as a Liaison between Development and external vendors, providing guidance, information, and business and technical expertise. Conducts research and problem solving for system related issues. Assists the customer/business in troubleshooting & resolving potential system issues. Performs additional duties as directs. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems Five or more years of experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Resolves issues and contributes to area development Proven track record of managing projects and delivering quality, value added results and services in a timely manner Solid technical background Capable of identifying sub-optimal business processes and using process simplification methods and/or technology to improve them Excellent business and analytical skills and abilities with process management and information systems design experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to influence others, including peers and senior management Strong analytical skills Ability to take independent action and/or proactively creating opportunities to resolve or prevent problems Ability to thrive in a changing environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin physical or mental handicap, disability, age or status as a disabled veteran or veteran of the Vietnam era.
