Byler Quarries is Hiring a Quality Control Manager Near Middletown, PA
The Byler Quarries Quality Control Manager will develop and direct quality control procedures so that our products meet internal and external standards before shipping to customers. The position will play a vital role in establishing processes and standards and ensure that the Quality Control team adheres to these guidelines.
The Byler Quarries Quality Control Manager will need to have experience in quality control, along with excellent team leadership and coordination skills to drive their team, and the quarry in general, to success. This role is essential to producing reliable and durable products and maintaining a positive reputation among customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment and perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to all safety regulations including MSHA, OSHA, and DOT
- Direct quality control personnel
- Monitors all quality related activities
- Establish quality control procedures
- Resolve quality issues
- Maintain quality control records
- Analyze production and quality control reports
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Have an understanding of the development of mix designs
- Ability to train employees
Requirements:
- Maintain a valid Driver's License
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possess and maintain NECEPT Asphalt Plan Level 2 Certification
- Maintain PennDot Certified Aggregate Technician
- Must Possess basic math skills
- Have knowledge of principals, practices and techniques of testing asphalt and aggregates
- Efficient in Microsoft Office specifically, Microsoft Excel
- Stonemont experience a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of QA Technician Experience
