Material Handling and Spare Parts Associate - BYD is looking for an experienced multitasker to join our great team!
Position Location: Compton, Los Angeles, CA
Essential Functions and Job Duties:
•Find the correct P/A of the parts customers need according to the information they provide.
•Read, reply, and follow up with customers emails.
•Process orders (pick, pack, and shipping), create and process invoices, generating sales orders and outbound numbers) for customers and manage spare parts in SAP/Access.
•Oversee spare parts return process with customers and process returns.
•Create shipping labels and schedule pick-up from carriers.
•Communicate with HQ and customers to gather information to solve the reported customer problems.
•Create and maintain reports for spare parts meetings with the factory and internal department meetings.
•Be able to lift up to 50lbs of parts.
•Generate audit and cycle count reports and help with cycle counts and investigations.
•Order shipping supplies from vendors.
•Update backorder report with HQ updated information.
High School Diploma or GED required.
