Summary/Objective:

Interacts closely with the internal departments (Shipping, Purchasing, Inside Sales, Quality, Production and Service) to oversee the daily operations and perform financial functions.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily operations of the accounting department including journal entries, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, account payables, receivables, general ledger.

· Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

· Analyze financial information and data to help make informed business decisions.

· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance.

· Conduct financial and profitability analysis of new products, projects, or initiatives.

· Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing financial systems and processes.

· Complete various tasks/projects assigned by the Chief financial officer and/or the Management team.

Requirements:

· SAP experience is strongly preferred

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong experience with MS Office (specifically Excel, familiar with basic formulas, Lookups, Pivot Table)

· Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.

· Ability to prioritize work

· Manufacturing background a plus

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or higher
