Job Summary:

As a key member of the Maintenance team, the Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the entire facility. The Custodian has the primary responsibility for the general upkeep of our manufacturing facility including but not limited to offices, conference room(s), kitchen(s), breakroom(s) and restroom(s) and all common areas in order to promote health and safety. 

Job Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitizing offices, conference room(s), kitchen(s), breakroom(s) and restroom(s) and all common areas in order to promote health and safety. 
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Sweeping and mopping flooring. Buff and wax as needed.
• Use walk behind sweepers and scrubbers to clean aisles and floors as needed.
• Pick up and dispose of all trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Maintain and clean kitchenettes in facility break rooms.
• Maintain outside areas including but not limited to entry ways.
• Additional tasks or projects (not listed above) that are assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred. 

Experience:

• 1-2 Years of janitorial experience preferred. 

This role is based in the State of New York which requires the disclosure of salary ranges. The expected salary for this position is $17-$18 per hour.
