Job Description:

Primary Function:

The Technical Quote Specialist – Level 1 is a high performing problem solver with technical ability and demonstrated initiative. This role is responsible for supporting the Baldwin Sales Team with the ability to learn and provide technical quotes of our LED/UV/IR product offerings.

Responsibilities:

• To learn and understand our technical products and be able to provide technical scope of supply and pricing.
• To manage time to provide prompt responses and quote turnaround within the specified expectations.
• To support Sales Team with technical scope, pricing and answer technical questions as expected for Level 1.
• To research legacy digital files to determine customer history of equipment, orders, and upgrades.
• To create a complete, accurate, detail oriented final Technical quote.
• To update and maintain all digital files, reports, and data entry required to manage Technical Quotes.

Preferred Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have technical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment and scope. You must be detail oriented with a high level of personal ownership. You must be able to work independently as well as with others.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
• Better than average skills in grammar and punctuation
• Experience in the print industry preferred
• Knowledge of printing methods and press types / brands
• Basic understanding of costs, margins, and pricing analysis
• Associates or Technical Degree, or 4 years’ experience in similar role
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and video
