JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY
As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various IT projects from initiation to completion. The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of new and existing projects, including ordering materials and job site logistics, under the direction of the Operations Manager. This role will assist in the preparation of contracts, and changes with the client's facilities, employees, as well as subcontractors, and vendors, \to ensure the thorough and complete execution of a project.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

● Maintain a high level of communication, creating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

●Plan and organize work to maximize crew productivity by deploying delay-free production practices

● Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements as necessary

● Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information

● Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored

● Direct project correspondence, prepare and review project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails

  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives

● Allocate and update technicians on the schedule and scope of work of ongoing projects.

● Understand full Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications of the project assigned

● Work with leadership to ensure all material and equipment required to execute the scope of work are ordered and received on time to execute projects by agreed upon schedule

● Order all company material from preferred vendors.

● Coordinate with the project management team daily to provide field technicians with all needed information and material.

● Ensure all safety requirements are met throughout the project, and review as needed with the Operations Manager.

● Manage the implementation of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies

● Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions

● Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper release management practices are followed

● Ensure compliance with data security standards and implement disaster recovery plans

● Manage progress and adjust as needed ensuring IT projects are on track of timeline.

● Ensure all activities are completed according to the agreed-upon plan and specifications.

● Report hours worked, production, and completed quantities.

● Identify areas of opportunity to improve processes and provide additional support to field staff to maximize team execution of all projects.

● Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY COMPETENCIES

● Maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment

● Outstanding organization and administrative skills

●Ability to think individually as well as collaboratively when approaching job responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

● Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Computer Information Systems or Communications. Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience.

● Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay: $82,000.00 - $95,122.00 per year
