Job Overview:
We are seeking a Bakery Helper to join our team. As a Bakery Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the daily operations of our bakery. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Filling the display case in the morning and through out the day.
- Package baked goods according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their bakery orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Upsell bakery products to increase sales and promote new items
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the freshness and quality of our products
- Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product presentation and packaging
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
