Who You Are:
We are currently searching for a Vice President of Employee Experience & Development to join our executive leadership team and evolve our culture as a learning organization. This is an on-site role that will offer a unique blend of both transformational and transactional work within the organization along with some externally focused work in the community that we believe is critical in our mission to Enrich Lives. Reporting to the CEO, you will get to build and develop the human resources function supporting all areas of the business.

What You'll Do:
In this role you will be able to jump in and start making an immediate impact. Specifically, you'll:

  • First and foremost, resonate with our guiding principles and mission as an organization
  • Utilize your background in mid-sized, manufacturing organizations along with your Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (HRCI or SHRM certification a plus!) to lead and develop the Human Resources function and its policies with compassion and empathy
  • Be a talent connector by developing creative and cost-effective ways of hiring high-quality candidates by developing long-term relationships with organizations and individuals that will enhance the talent pipeline both in and out of the organization
  • Develop community relationships by spending 20% of your time building long-term, strategic workforce and organizational development partnerships, public speaking, and serving in the community in which we work
  • Develop a highly effective orientation, job training, and employee development program that emphasizes the critical importance and value of our employees by integrating them into the corporate culture and ensuring their strong career path along with other key leaders within the organization
  • Foster a strong employee experience by empowering our people to grow and build their careers and skills to their fullest potential
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training. Remain current with changes in human resource and employment law and manage company relationships with state and local regulatory agencies
  • Serve as an internal consultant to other leaders within the organization to lead, advise and mediate employee relations situations to ensure fairness and consistency
  • Foster and enhance our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and outcomes. Bi-lingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation and benefit programs and oversee the execution of all programs including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, supplemental medical, 401(k) plan, PTO, FMLA, and unemployment compensation
