Employees assigned to the Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) or Crisis Services will receive a 10% site differential and those assigned as part of the Resiliency Empowerment Team (Rest) and Full Service Partnership Team (FSP) will receive a 5% site differential on top of the base salaries listed below.
The eligibility list created from this recruitment will be used to fill regular help vacancies, as well as extra help.

DEFINITION
Under limited supervision, supervises Behavioral Health Clinicians or other assigned staff to assure that effective and appropriate psychotherapeutic services are provided for behavioral health clients.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives limited supervision from a Program Manager or designee. Supervises Behavioral Health Clinicians or other assigned staff.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
Incumbents are required to work within the scope of either a Marriage and Family Therapist or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker license; incumbents manage staff and exercise independent judgement for managing the treatment of assigned clients.

Master’s degree from an accredited two year graduate school or program in Social Work or a related field; and
Two (2) years of experience as either a Marriage and Family Therapist or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and one (1) year of supervisory experience including the planning, scheduling, assigning, evaluating, training and directing the work of subordinate staff; or
Three (3) years of professional counseling/therapy in a Behavioral Health setting, including one (1) year of lead or supervisor experience.

Disaster Service Worker
All Butte County employees are designated Disaster Service Workers through state and local law (California Government Code Section 3100-3109). Employment with the County requires the affirmation of a loyalty oath to this effect. Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
