Practical Nursing Instructors develop comprehensive lesson plans and deliver top-notch training in the areas of practical nursing, patient care, and health care administration. Instructors also lead hands-on skills training and evaluate student performance in lab and/or classroom settings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing OR be within 12 months of graduation.
• Current Ohio licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an approved, accredited nursing school.
• 2 years of experience working as a registered nurse.
• Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.
• Student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.
• Proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.

Pay:

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
